Johnson Controls VG7000 Series Globe Valve

The Johnson Controls VG7000 Series globe valve is a brass trim, cast bronze body control valve for hot or chilled water and low-pressure steam in HVAC systems. In these assemblies the valve is paired with a V-3801 compact pneumatic actuator. This gives modulating control of water and steam flow in building heating and cooling applications.

Key Features:

• Brass trim, with a cast bronze body, brass bonnet and plug, and stainless steel stem
• Molded elastomeric disk for tight shutoff in brass trim valves
• Modulating plug with an equal percentage flow characteristic on two-way valves
• Compact pneumatic actuator with a die-cast enclosure and enclosed spring, suited to tight spaces such as baseboard radiators and convectors
• Cast flow-direction arrow on the valve body to help with correct piping
• Extended bonnet as standard equipment
• Low leakage: 0.01% of maximum flow, ANSI/FCI 70-2 Class 4

Johnson Controls VG7000 Series valves are a long-established choice for pneumatic HVAC control. They are well suited to hydronic heating and cooling, terminal units and radiation applications.
