Johnson Controls VG7251CS+3801B 1/2 in. Brass Trim Globe Valve w/ Pneumatic Actuator, 3-6 psig

The Johnson Controls VG7251CS+3801B is a VG7000 Series two-way, normally open, brass trim globe valve assembly. It pairs the VG7251CS 1/2 in. union globe valve body with a V-3801-8001 compact pneumatic actuator that has a 3-6 psig spring range. It is used to control hot water, chilled water, or 15 psig saturated steam in HVAC systems.

Key Features:

• Two-way, normally open (spring return) operation
• 1/2 in. union globe end connections
• Flow coefficient of 0.73 Cv with equal percentage flow characteristic
• Brass valve trim with stainless steel valve stem
• V-3801-8001 compact pneumatic actuator with 3-6 psig spring range
• Actuator has a 4 sq. in. effective diaphragm area and a rugged die-cast enclosure with enclosed spring
• Maximum supply air pressure of 25 psig
• Fluid temperature range of 35°F to 248°F
• Valve body static pressure rating of ANSI Class 250
• Factory or field assembly

The compact design fits tight spaces such as baseboard radiators and convectors. The valve body is made of a copper alloy that contains lead, so it should not be used on drinking water.
