Mars Dual Round Motor Run Capacitor

The Mars Dual Round Motor Run Capacitor is a dual-section run capacitor for HVAC and refrigeration equipment. One round can serves two motors. It typically powers a compressor and a condenser fan motor in air conditioner and heat pump condensing units. Technicians may also call it a dual run capacitor, a round dual capacitor, or an A/C motor run capacitor.

Key Features:

• Dual-capacitor design with a common terminal. It combines the compressor and fan motor capacitors in one housing.
• Round can construction suits standard mounting brackets and straps.
• Rated for continuous-duty motor run service.
• Helps motors start and run efficiently, and keeps current draw steady.
• Each variant has its own microfarad (MFD) ratings and voltage rating. Check these against your original capacitor.

Replacing a weak or failed capacitor can fix hard starting, humming motors, and fan or compressor failures. It can also help prevent damage to the motors. Always disconnect power and discharge the capacitor before servicing.
