Mars 12878 Dual Round Motor Run Capacitor 40/5 MFD 370V

The Mars 12878 is a dual-section round motor run capacitor designed for HVAC and refrigeration applications. This capacitor features two separate capacitance ratings in a single compact housing: 40 microfarads (MFD) and 5 MFD, both rated for 370 volts AC operation.

Key Features:

• Dual capacitance ratings: 40 MFD and 5 MFD in one unit
• 370 VAC voltage rating for reliable performance
• Round metal housing for durability and heat dissipation
• Commonly used for compressor and fan motor applications
• Quick-connect terminals for easy installation
• Designed for continuous duty operation in HVAC systems

This dual run capacitor is ideal for air conditioning systems where both the compressor and fan motor require capacitive start assistance. The 40 MFD section typically supports the compressor motor, while the 5 MFD section powers the condenser fan motor. Mars capacitors are manufactured to strict quality standards and provide reliable performance in demanding climate control applications.
