3M Scotchblok Masking Paper

3M Scotchblok Masking Paper is a polycoated automotive masking paper for paint and refinish work. It helps stop overspray and solvent bleed-through from reaching the surfaces underneath. Body shops and painters use it as an auto body masking paper for jamb masking, paint prep and refinishing.

Key Features:

• Polycoated backing blocks solvents from soaking through. This includes the solvents in modern gelcoats and paint systems.
• Tightly bonded, specially coated paper resists paint solvents, urethanes, base coats and clear coats.
• Holds up under wet sanding in real shop conditions.
• Bake-cycle tolerant. It withstands bake cycles up to 225°F (107°C) for up to 30 minutes.
• Conforms well. It is thin and flexible, so it attaches easily to a range of shapes.
• Helps keep paper fibers off fresh paint. The bonded formulation reduces fiber contamination of freshly painted and varnished surfaces.
• Made for automotive aftermarket applications and designed to be used with 3M masking tapes and masking equipment.

Using the right masking paper can save a shop the cleanup and rework that come with accidental overspray. 3M Scotchblok is a good choice when ordinary masking paper doesn't give enough protection.
