Petlas Explero H/T Summer SUV Tire

The Petlas Explero H/T (PT431) is a summer highway-terrain tire for SUVs and crossovers. It is built for drivers who want confident dry and wet grip, responsive handling and a quiet ride on pavement. Petlas designed it for warm-weather use. It is a performance-oriented summer tire, also called a UHP or high-performance H/T tire.

Key Features:

• Summer compound: Heat-resistant rubber is meant to improve grip and stability in warm conditions.
• Asymmetric tread design: It puts more rubber on the road and improves dry and wet traction.
• Wet-weather performance: Wide circumferential grooves move water out from under the footprint to help resist hydroplaning. Dense siping adds biting edges for grip.
• Handling and braking: Solid center ribs support steering response and stability. The reinforced outer shoulder blocks help cornering and shorten braking distances.
• High-speed durability: The tread design, internal structure and compound work together to limit heat build-up at speed.
• Comfort: A computer-optimized tread pattern helps reduce road noise and vibration.
• Black sidewall with radial construction.

As a summer tire, it is not intended for use in consistently cold temperatures, such as below about 45 degrees Fahrenheit. The Explero H/T gives SUV and crossover owners a quiet, capable summer tire with strong wet and dry performance. Sold individually by size, load index and speed rating.
