Wells Diverter Valve

The Wells Diverter Valve is a replacement secondary air injection diverter valve, also called an air injection control valve or air pump diverter valve. It is part of the vehicle's emissions control system.

What It Does:

• Directs fresh air from the secondary air injection pump into the exhaust stream. This air helps burn unburned and partially burned fuel and supports catalytic converter efficiency.
• Controls when air flows to the exhaust, so the system works during the appropriate operating phases.
• Helps the secondary air injection system work as designed, which supports emissions compliance.

Why Replace It:

• Diverter valves can stick or clog with carbon and soot over time. This can cause secondary air injection fault codes and lean-mixture codes.
• Installing a new valve can restore proper air routing in the system.

Wells supplies engine management and emissions components for the automotive aftermarket. This product line covers multiple part numbers, so select the variant that matches your application.
