Airtex Automotive Division Oil Temperature Sensor

The Airtex Automotive Division Oil Temperature Sensor (also called an oil temperature sender or oil temp sensor) is a replacement part that measures fluid temperature and reports it to the vehicle's engine or powertrain computer. The computer uses this real-time reading to adjust engine and drivetrain operation as conditions change.

Key Features:

• Engineered and tested to meet or exceed OE specifications, as Airtex states for its temperature sensor line
• Sends temperature data to the on-board computer so it can adjust to changing operating conditions
• Replaces a worn, corroded or failing sensor, which can cause inaccurate temperature readings
• Backed by Airtex, an established aftermarket brand with a broad range of engine management and sensor products

A working oil temperature sensor helps the engine computer receive accurate data. Replacing a faulty unit helps maintain consistent performance and protect against problems caused by bad readings. Select the variant by part number.
