Spectra Premium Fuel Pump Strainer

Spectra Premium fuel pump strainers are replacement fuel pump strainers (also called fuel sock filters or fuel pump inlet filters). They are the first line of defense for your fuel pump module. The strainer fits on the pump inlet inside the fuel tank. It filters out dirt, debris and other contaminants before they reach the pump and the rest of the fuel system.

Key Features:

• Gradient-density depth media is designed to meet or exceed OE specifications
• Filters fuel to help prevent contamination of the fuel system and premature pump failure
• Filter material is tested and validated for capacity and efficiency by an accredited third party
• Direct-fit replacement design for straightforward installation
• Available in a range of styles for different applications

A clogged or worn strainer can restrict fuel flow and reduce engine power. It can also shorten the life of the fuel pump. Replacing the strainer when you service the fuel pump helps restore proper fuel delivery. It also helps protect your investment in a new pump.

Spectra Premium has been in business since 1989 and is a North American manufacturer of fuel delivery and cooling system components. It holds ISO 9001 quality certification. Its engineering team develops parts to match the performance of the original equipment they replace.
