Facet Engine Camshaft Position Sensor

The Facet Engine Camshaft Position Sensor (also called a cam position sensor or CMP sensor) monitors the position and rotation of the camshaft. It sends that signal to the engine control unit (ECU). The ECU uses the signal to time fuel injection and ignition accurately. This helps the engine start easily, run smoothly, and use fuel efficiently.

Key Features:

• Replacement camshaft position sensor for accurate cam timing signals
• Supports correct fuel injection and ignition timing
• Helps prevent hard starting, rough idle, stalling, and loss of power
• Helps restore normal engine performance when a worn or failing sensor is replaced
• Made by Facet, an established aftermarket supplier of automotive engine management and fuel system components

A faulty camshaft position sensor can cause a check engine light, hard starting, or misfires. Replacing it with a quality sensor helps restore reliable engine operation. Choose the correct part number from the options on this page.
