Facet 9.0278 Engine Camshaft Position Sensor

The Facet 9.0278 Engine Camshaft Position Sensor is a precision-engineered component designed to monitor camshaft rotation and deliver accurate timing data to your vehicle's engine control module (ECM). This sensor plays a critical role in determining ignition timing, fuel injection timing, and maintaining proper coil firing sequence for optimal engine performance.

Key Features:

• Detects camshaft position using electromagnetic sensing technology
• Provides accurate readings to the ECM for precise engine timing control
• Utilizes Hall effect or variable reluctance sensing depending on application
• European-engineered design for OEM-quality performance and durability
• Manufactured by Facet, a leading supplier of engine management sensors
• Direct replacement for original equipment camshaft position sensors

Facet is a premium European aftermarket manufacturer specializing in engine management components for BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, Audi, and other European vehicles. The camshaft position sensor detects variations in magnetic flow produced by camshaft rotation, generating an electrical signal that allows the engine computer to synchronize fuel injection and ignition timing. A failing camshaft position sensor can cause rough idle, stalling, reduced power, poor fuel economy, or difficulty starting.
