GPD Crankshaft Position Sensor

The GPD Crankshaft Position Sensor (also sold as a crank sensor, CKP sensor or crank/cam position sensor) is a direct-fit replacement part for your engine management system. The sensor monitors the position and rotational speed of the crankshaft. The engine control unit uses that signal to time fuel injection and ignition and to set other engine parameters. It is also a primary source for engine speed (RPM) readings.

Key Features:

• Meets or exceeds OE fit, form and function
• Direct-fit replacement design
• Durability tested on every new design
• Supports proper engine timing, starting and running, and emissions system function
• Proper function is necessary in states that require emissions testing

A worn or failing crankshaft position sensor can cause hard starting, stalling, rough running or a check engine light. Replacing it with a GPD sensor helps restore reliable engine management signals. Choose the exact part number for your application from the options listed on this page.
