ACDelco Brake Pad Wear Sensor

The ACDelco Brake Pad Wear Sensor (also called a brake pad wear indicator sensor or brake wear sensor) is an electronic component that helps monitor the condition of your disc brake pads. When the friction material wears down to its minimum service limit, the sensor sends a signal to the vehicle's warning system. This alerts the driver that the pads need replacement.

Key Features:

• Works with the vehicle's brake wear warning system to give an early indication of worn disc brake pads
• Engineered by ACDelco, a brand with a long history as a supplier of OE and replacement parts for GM and other vehicles
• Designed to restore the factory-style wear monitoring function when a sensor is worn, damaged, or triggered
• Helps you avoid metal-to-metal contact that can damage rotors and calipers
• Direct-replacement design for straightforward installation

Brake pad wear sensors are normally replaced whenever the brake pads are replaced. Fitting a new sensor with new pads keeps the warning system reliable and helps maintain braking safety and performance. Select the correct part number for your application from the available options.
