Four Seasons Desiccant Bag Kit for A/C Systems

The Four Seasons Desiccant Bag Kit for A/C Systems is a service kit for replacing the desiccant bag in a valve-in-receiver (VIR) air conditioning accumulator or receiver/drier. It is also called a VIR desiccant bag service kit or A/C desiccant replacement kit. The desiccant helps keep the refrigerant circuit dry during A/C service and repair.

Key Features:

• Moisture control: Desiccant material absorbs moisture that can build up in the A/C system.
• Helps protect components: Removing moisture helps guard against corrosion, ice formation and acid buildup, which can damage the compressor and other parts.
• Serviceable design: Lets the technician replace the desiccant without replacing the whole VIR assembly where the application allows.
• Trusted brand: Four Seasons is a long-established supplier of aftermarket A/C and engine cooling parts.

Replace the desiccant bag any time the A/C system is opened for service. This helps the system run properly and helps restore cooling performance. Follow the vehicle manufacturer's service procedure, and evacuate and recharge the system after installation.
