Four Seasons 83198 Desiccant Bag Kit for A/C Systems

The Four Seasons 83198 Desiccant Bag Kit is a replacement desiccant designed for use in automotive air conditioning systems. This component plays a critical role in removing moisture from the A/C system, which helps prevent corrosion, ice formation, and contamination that can damage internal components and reduce cooling efficiency.

Key Features:

• Absorbs moisture and contaminants from refrigerant and compressor oil
• Helps protect A/C system components from corrosion and damage
• Direct replacement for worn or contaminated desiccant
• Manufactured by Four Seasons, a trusted name in automotive climate control parts
• Essential component during A/C system service and compressor replacement

Replacing the desiccant bag is recommended whenever the A/C system is opened for service, especially during compressor replacement or when moisture contamination is suspected. This helps ensure optimal system performance and longevity.
