Injen Evolution Roto-Molded Cold Air Intake System

The Injen Evolution Cold Air Intake System (also called a cold air intake, performance air intake or air induction kit) is a roto-molded intake designed to help your engine breathe better. Injen engineers each kit in-house and tunes it on a dyno. The goal is to add horsepower and torque and keep an OE-quality fit.

Key Features:

• Roto-molded construction: The air box or housing and the intake tube are made from durable roto-molded polyethylene. The tube has a smooth interior to reduce airflow restriction, and the housing helps shield the filter from underhood heat. Some applications use cross-link polyethylene (XLPE).
• SuperNano-Web dry air filter: Evolution systems use Injen's proprietary synthetic dry filter media. It is a large, deep-pleated filter that is fully serviceable and needs no oiling.
• Dyno-tuned intake tube: Many applications use a patented tuning process that controls airflow past the MAF sensor. It is designed to keep fuel trims accurate and avoid check engine lights.
• Ram air scoops and sealed housings: Depending on the application, the housing may include a molded ram air scoop or a sealed design with Injen's Twist-Lock filter attachment. Both are meant to draw in cooler, denser air.
• Quality hardware: The kits use automotive-grade silicone or urethane couplers and stainless steel clamps.
• Bolt-on installation: The kits are designed to install without cutting or drilling. They are intended to work with the stock calibration, so an aftermarket tune is generally not needed.
• Intake sound: You get a more aggressive intake growl under acceleration.
