TBC Arctic Claw Winter WXI Tire SL

The TBC Arctic Claw Winter WXI is a studdable winter (snow) tire for coupes, sedans, crossovers, SUVs and light-duty pickup trucks. It is built to give dependable traction, handling and braking on snow, slush and ice. Its winter compound and detailed tread design suit drivers who face cold-weather roads all season.

Key Features:

• Severe snow service rated: Meets USTMA and Rubber Association of Canada severe snow service requirements and carries the three-peak mountain snowflake symbol.
• Winter compound: Stays flexible in freezing temperatures to help keep grip on cold pavement.
• Asymmetric tread design: Large tread elements keep consistent road contact for steady handling and steering response.
• High-density siping: Many sipes add biting edges for traction and shorter braking distances on snow and ice.
• Wide, angled grooves: Move water and slush out of the footprint to help resist hydroplaning and improve snow traction.
• Studdable: Designed to accept optional metal studs for extra grip on freezing rain, sleet and wet ice.

TBC Brands introduced the Arctic Claw Winter WXI as the successor to the Arctic Claw Winter TXI and XSI. It is a winter tire for passenger cars, SUVs and light trucks that need confident cold-weather performance.
