The DriveMotive Direct Injection High Pressure Mechanical Fuel Pump (also called a GDI high-pressure fuel pump, HPFP, or direct injection fuel pump) is an engine-mounted replacement pump for gasoline direct injection fuel systems. It takes fuel from the low-pressure in-tank pump and raises it to the very high pressure the fuel rail and direct injectors need.
