Warn Replacement Contactor for Winches

The Warn replacement contactor (also called a winch solenoid, relay, or contactor assembly) is the electrical switch that controls power flow between the battery and the winch motor. When you press the winch controller, the contactor closes and sends high-current power to the motor. It also controls the direction of line-in and line-out operation. If your winch runs intermittently, runs on its own, or does not respond, a worn contactor is a common cause.
