Danfoss Solenoid Valve Body ODF Normally Closed

The Danfoss EVR solenoid valve body is a normally closed refrigerant solenoid valve with ODF (solder) connections. It is made for refrigeration and air conditioning systems. This listing is for the valve body only. Order the coil separately.

Key Features:

• Normally closed design: The valve stays closed when the coil is de-energized and opens when the coil is energized. This contains refrigerant during shutdown or power loss.
• ODF solder connections: These make clean, leak-tight brazed joints on copper refrigerant lines.
• Durable construction: The valve body is built to resist corrosion in refrigeration environments.
• Broad refrigerant compatibility: It suits common non-corrosive refrigerants.
• Separate body and coil: You can service or replace the coil without disturbing the brazed valve body.

Typical uses include walk-in cold rooms, display freezers, refrigerators, and commercial air conditioning and food service refrigeration. The EVR series is also used in icemakers and ice cream machines, where rapid defrost cycles and short hot gas injection cycles add stress. Danfoss is a well-known maker of refrigeration controls and components. Choose the child item that matches your line size and valve capacity.
