Facet Distributor Ignition Pickup Sensor

The Facet Distributor Ignition Pickup Sensor, also known as a distributor pickup coil or ignition pulse generator, is a key part of the electronic ignition system. It detects distributor shaft rotation and sends a timing signal to the ignition module or control unit. That signal tells the system when to fire each spark plug, so the engine can start and run smoothly.

Key Features:

• Produces a consistent timing signal for accurate spark timing
• Designed as a direct replacement for the original ignition pickup
• Helps restore smooth starting, steady idle, and responsive performance
• Made by Facet, a supplier of aftermarket automotive ignition and fuel system components

Signs of a Failing Pickup:

• Engine cranks but will not start
• Intermittent stalling or hesitation
• Rough running or misfires

Replacing a worn or failed pickup sensor restores reliable ignition timing and helps keep the engine running well. Choose the correct variant for your application from the options on this page.
