Facet 8.2744 Distributor Ignition Pickup Sensor

The Facet 8.2744 Distributor Ignition Pickup is a precision-engineered sensor that plays a critical role in your vehicle's ignition system. This ignition pulse sensor is located inside the distributor and works in conjunction with the reluctor wheel to determine the precise firing order of your engine.

How It Works: As the distributor rotor spins, windows in the reluctor wheel change the magnetic field of the pickup coil, allowing the sensor to send precise signals to the ignition control module or ECM. These signals determine which cylinder should fire and when, ensuring optimal engine timing and performance.
