Dayco Drive Belt Tensioner Pulley

The Dayco drive belt tensioner pulley, also called a belt tensioner idler pulley or accessory drive tensioner pulley, helps keep the serpentine or V-ribbed belt at the correct tension and alignment. Proper tension helps the belt drive the alternator, water pump, power steering pump, and air conditioning compressor smoothly and reliably.

Key Features:

• Made for accessory drive systems that use an automatic belt tensioner
• Precision-machined pulley surface that guides the belt and helps it track evenly
• Sealed bearing designed for smooth rotation and long service life
• Durable construction that holds up to heat, load, and constant belt contact
• Made by Dayco, a long-established supplier of engine belt drive components to the automotive aftermarket

Replacing a worn tensioner pulley helps prevent belt noise, belt slip, uneven belt wear, and premature accessory drive failure. Many installers replace the pulley along with the drive belt as part of routine belt drive maintenance. Choose the specific part number from the options listed to get the correct pulley for your application.
