Beru Ignition Condenser

The Beru ignition condenser (also called an ignition capacitor) is a replacement part for breaker-point distributor ignition systems. Beru is a German ignition specialist and an OE supplier to automakers, and its condensers are built for durable, dependable performance.

Key Features:

• Arc suppression: Stabilizes voltage and reduces arcing across the distributor points, which helps protect the points and maintain consistent ignition timing.
• Interference reduction: Helps suppress electrical interference in the ignition circuit.
• OE-quality construction: Built to the specifications of Beru, a long-established supplier of ignition components.
• Durable design: Made to hold up to the heat and vibration of the engine compartment.
• Straightforward installation: Replaces the old condenser at the distributor. Many installers change it together with the ignition points.

A worn or failing condenser can cause hard starting, misfires, rough running and premature point burning. Replacing it with a Beru condenser helps restore smooth, reliable ignition operation.
