Replacement Direct Injection High Pressure Fuel Pump

This direct injection high pressure fuel pump (also called a GDI fuel pump, HPFP or high pressure fuel pump) is a replacement part for gasoline direct injection engines. It raises fuel pressure from the in-tank supply pump to the level the fuel rail and injectors need to atomize fuel in the combustion chamber.

Key Features:

• Replacement design for gasoline direct injection (GDI) fuel systems
• Delivers the high-pressure fuel the injectors need for precise metering and a fine spray pattern
• Supports smooth starting, steady idle, throttle response and fuel efficiency
• Typically driven by an engine camshaft lobe and regulated by the engine control module
• Built to meet the demands of high-pressure operation and continuous duty

A worn or failing high pressure fuel pump can cause hard starting, rough idle, hesitation, reduced power, a lit check engine light, or fuel pressure fault codes. Replacing it restores correct fuel rail pressure and helps the engine run as designed. Select the child item that matches your application to get the right pump.
