Motorad Vapor Canister Vent Solenoid

The Motorad Vapor Canister Vent Solenoid, also called an EVAP canister vent valve or vent control solenoid, is a replacement part for a vehicle's evaporative emission control (EVAP) system. It opens and closes the vent line on the charcoal vapor canister. This lets the system hold fuel vapors, purge them, and run its leak-detection tests as designed.

Key Features:

• Replacement part for the EVAP canister vent control function
• Helps the EVAP system manage fuel vapors correctly and keep emissions in check
• Supports the EVAP system's self-test and leak-detection routines
• Built for dependable operation in under-vehicle conditions such as heat, moisture, and road debris
• Made by Motorad, a supplier of engine thermal management and emissions-related replacement parts

Why Replace It: A worn or failed vent solenoid can cause EVAP-related check engine lights, vent or leak-detection fault codes, fuel odor, trouble filling the tank, or a failed emissions test. A new solenoid helps restore normal EVAP operation.
