Genuine BMW Secondary Air Injection Control Valve

The Genuine BMW Secondary Air Injection Control Valve (also called a secondary air valve, combination valve or air pump check valve) is an original equipment component of the secondary air injection system. The system helps the engine reduce cold-start hydrocarbon emissions. The valve controls the flow of fresh air from the secondary air pump into the exhaust system.

Key Features:

• Genuine BMW original equipment part, built to factory specifications
• Regulates air delivery from the secondary air pump to the exhaust ports during warm-up
• Helps the catalytic converter reach operating temperature faster, supporting emissions compliance
• Helps prevent hot exhaust gases from flowing back toward the air pump
• Designed for the fit, sealing and durability of the original part

A worn or stuck secondary air injection control valve can cause secondary air system fault codes, a check engine light, rough running at cold start or a failed emissions test. Replacing it with a Genuine BMW part restores correct system operation. Select the child item that matches your application.
