Stabilus Tailgate Lift Support Struts

Stabilus tailgate lift support struts, also called tailgate gas struts, gas springs or liftgate props, hold the tailgate open and help control how it opens and closes. Stabilus is a well-known gas spring manufacturer and supplies these parts to the automotive industry, so the line is built to OEM-style standards for replacing worn struts.

Key Features:

• Sealed, gas-charged design that gives smooth, controlled movement
• Holds the tailgate open without manual support
• Helps prevent the tailgate from dropping suddenly
• Built from durable materials for long service life and corrosion resistance
• End fittings are made for a secure connection at both mounting points
• Replaces tired or leaking struts to restore normal operation

Struts wear out over time. Common signs are a tailgate that won't stay up, drifts down or closes too quickly. Replacing them restores easy, safe access to the cargo area. Stabilus lift supports are designed to be a straightforward bolt-on replacement, and they are usually changed in pairs so both sides perform the same.
