Dayco Engine Timing Belt Idler Pulley

The Dayco Engine Timing Belt Idler Pulley (also called a timing belt idler or timing belt tensioner idler pulley) guides the timing belt and keeps its path and tension correct. This helps maintain accurate camshaft and crankshaft synchronization. Dayco is a well-known supplier of belts, tensioners, pulleys, and timing component kits for the automotive aftermarket.

Key Features:

• Designed to guide the timing belt smoothly and keep it properly aligned
• Built with a sealed bearing for quiet, reliable operation
• Durable construction made for the heat, load, and rotation demands of engine timing systems
• Made to fit the specifications of the application it supports
• Replaces worn or noisy idler pulleys that can cause belt wear, slippage, or timing problems

Replacing the idler pulley at the same time as the timing belt is a common best practice. It helps protect the new belt and supports long-term engine reliability. Select the child item that matches your application.
