Dorman Transmission Cooler Line Thermostatic Bypass Valve

The Dorman Transmission Cooler Line Thermostatic Bypass Valve (also called a transmission oil cooler bypass valve or transmission thermostat valve) helps regulate the flow and temperature of the transmission fluid. It is designed to keep the transmission at its proper operating temperature. Dorman offers this valve as a direct replacement for the factory part.

Key Features:

• Temperature regulation: Optimizes fluid flow and operating temperature to help protect the transmission from overheating and from running too cold.
• Direct replacement: Built to match the original equipment's fit and function for a straightforward repair.
• Durable construction: Made from quality materials for reliable performance and long service life.
• Corrosion resistance: Select applications use machined aluminum billet construction and a redesigned threaded cap in place of the OE snap-ring design.
• Quality tested: Dorman fit- and function-tests its transmission cooler line components.

A worn, clogged or corroded bypass valve can cause transmission overheating, poor warm-up or fluid leaks. Replacing it with a Dorman thermostatic bypass valve helps restore proper fluid flow and protect the drivetrain. Choose the correct variant for your application from the options on this page.
