Dorman 545-899 Coil Spring Insulator Replacement

The Dorman 545-899 is a direct-replacement coil spring insulator designed to restore proper suspension function and ride quality. Coil spring insulators — also called coil spring isolators or spring pads — are the rubber or plastic cushioning pads that sit between the coil spring and the spring seat on the strut or control arm, absorbing vibration and preventing metal-to-metal contact.

Key Features:

• Direct replacement — precision-engineered to match the design and dimensions of the original equipment component
• Durable construction — manufactured to strict quality standards using sturdy, resilient materials built to withstand road stress and temperature extremes
• Reduces noise and vibration — isolates the coil spring from the suspension mount to eliminate clunking, rattling, and harshness caused by worn or cracked insulators
• Installs in the stock location — no modifications required for a straightforward OE-style replacement
• Rigorously tested — thorough quality control measures ensure long service life and consistent performance

Dorman is a leading aftermarket auto parts manufacturer headquartered in Colmar, Pennsylvania, with a decades-long track record of delivering reliable OE-replacement and OE-fix solutions for passenger cars and light trucks. The 545-899 coil spring insulator is an ideal choice when the original insulator shows signs of cracking, compression set, or deterioration that leads to increased suspension noise or a degraded ride.
