Spyder 9964329 OE Replacement Upper Front Active Grille Shutter Assembly with Motor

The Spyder 9964329 is an OE-replacement upper front active grille shutter assembly with integrated motor, designed as a direct-fit replacement for the Mazda CX-5 (2017–2025). This assembly replicates the original equipment design, restoring proper aerodynamic airflow management and engine thermal regulation to factory specifications.

At lower speeds or during warm-up, the shutters close to reduce aerodynamic drag and allow the engine to reach operating temperature more efficiently. At higher speeds or when additional cooling is needed, the shutters open to direct airflow to the radiator and A/C condenser. A failed shutter assembly commonly triggers a P059F check engine code and can impact fuel economy and engine cooling performance.

Key Features:

• OE-quality replacement active grille shutter assembly
• Integrated actuator motor included — complete assembly, ready to install
• Upper front position, designed to match OEM mounting points and connector
• Restores proper aerodynamic drag reduction and engine warm-up efficiency
• Helps resolve P059F diagnostic trouble code
• Constructed from durable automotive-grade plastic to withstand road debris and temperature cycling
• Direct plug-and-play replacement — no modification required

This shutter assembly is a complete unit with the motor pre-installed, eliminating the need to source the actuator separately. Installation typically requires removal of the front bumper cover for access. OEM reference part number: KB8A-50-R10A.
