Spyder 9964299 Upper Front Active Grille Shutter Assembly with Motor

The Spyder 9964299 is an OE-replacement upper front active grille shutter assembly with integrated motor, designed for the 2023–2025 Chevrolet Equinox. This direct-fit replacement restores the factory active aerodynamic system to proper operation.

How It Works:

The active grille shutter system automatically opens and closes the front grille shutters based on vehicle speed, engine temperature, and cooling demands. When high airflow is not required, the shutters close to reduce aerodynamic drag and improve fuel efficiency. When cooling demands increase, the shutters open to allow maximum airflow to the engine compartment and radiator.

Key Features:

• OE-quality replacement for the factory upper active grille shutter assembly
• Includes integrated actuator motor — no separate motor purchase required
• Automatically regulates front-end airflow to optimize aerodynamics and engine cooling
• Engineered to match OEM fit, form, and function for a direct plug-and-play installation
• Helps prevent engine overheating and maintains optimal fuel efficiency
• Constructed from durable materials to withstand under-hood thermal and vibration stresses

Replacing a faulty active grille shutter assembly can resolve common issues such as illuminated check engine lights (including code P059F), reduced fuel economy, and engine cooling inefficiency. This upper shutter assembly with motor is a complete, ready-to-install unit.
