Motorad EVP0564 EVAP Vapor Canister

The Motorad EVP0564 is a direct-fit replacement evaporative emissions (EVAP) vapor canister engineered to restore proper emissions control, improve fuel efficiency, and support overall engine performance. As a key component of the vehicle's EVAP system, the vapor canister captures and stores fuel vapors from the gas tank, preventing them from venting directly into the atmosphere. When the engine is running, those stored vapors are routed back into the engine's intake to be burned, reducing harmful emissions and recovering otherwise wasted fuel.

Key Features:

• Superior activated carbon media — manufactured with high-grade activated charcoal featuring billions of pores for high-efficiency adsorption and desorption of fuel vapors
• OEM-matched charcoal bed — charcoal volume and adsorption quality validated to OE specifications, ensuring the canister handles peak vapor loads without premature saturation
• Multi-layer internal flow design — optimizes vapor distribution through the media for stable adsorption efficiency and quicker, more effective vapor capture over time
• Corrects OE failure modes — housing crack points, port geometry, and charcoal retention are re-engineered to address the root-cause weaknesses behind the original failure
• Pressure-cycle tested — housing validated to withstand repeated vacuum and pressure cycles, resisting fatigue cracking that can cause slow leaks and persistent diagnostic trouble codes
• Direct OEM replacement — designed for a precise fit with no modifications required

The Motorad EVP0564 vapor canister helps ensure your vehicle meets evaporative emission standards and supports reliable OBD-II EVAP system monitor readiness, reducing the likelihood of recurring emissions-related fault codes.
