Motorad EVP0046 EVAP Vapor Canister

The Motorad EVP0046 is a direct-fit replacement EVAP vapor canister (also known as a charcoal canister or evaporative emissions canister) engineered to restore proper function to your vehicle's evaporative emission control system.

The vapor canister is a key element in a vehicle's evaporative emissions control (EVAP) system, designed to capture and store fuel vapors from the gas tank. Packed with activated charcoal, it adsorbs these vapors, preventing them from venting directly into the atmosphere. When the engine is running, stored vapors are gradually directed back to the engine to be burned, reducing harmful emissions and improving fuel efficiency.

Key Features:

• Activated charcoal bed matched to OEM capacity and grade, with charcoal volume and adsorption quality validated to OE specifications to handle peak vapor loads without premature saturation.
• Manufactured using superior grade activated carbon with billions of pores to provide high-efficiency adsorption and desorption of fuel vapors.
• Multi-layer internal flow design optimizes vapor flow and adsorption efficiency, allowing for quicker, more effective capture of fuel vapors.
• Housing crack points, port geometry, and charcoal retention are engineered to correct known OE failure modes and address root-cause weaknesses behind the original part's failure.
• Effectively traps and contains fuel vapors, ensuring emissions are kept to a minimum and helping the vehicle meet environmental standards.

Choosing a quality replacement vapor canister helps safeguard engine health, optimize fuel use, and contributes to cleaner air — making it an investment in both vehicle performance and environmental responsibility.
