Aquasol ASWT-2 Water Soluble Tape for Pipe Purging & Welding

The Aquasol ASWT-2 Water Soluble Tape is a professional-grade tape engineered specifically for pipe welding and purging applications. Designed to dissolve completely in water, it eliminates the need to manually remove tape after welding — simply flush the pipe with water and the tape disappears without leaving any residue.

This tape is ideal for use as a dam or barrier inside pipes and tubing to hold purge gas during TIG and orbital welding operations. It helps maintain proper back-purge shielding gas concentration, resulting in cleaner, higher-quality root welds with minimal oxidation.

Key Features:

• Completely water soluble — dissolves cleanly when flushed with water
• Leaves no residue or contamination inside the pipe
• Ideal for back-purging and gas damming in pipe welding
• Compatible with TIG welding, orbital welding, and other fusion processes
• Suitable for use on stainless steel, carbon steel, and other pipe materials
• Easy to apply and conform to pipe interiors

The Aquasol ASWT-2 is a trusted solution among professional welders and fabricators who require clean, contamination-free welds in sanitary, food-grade, pharmaceutical, and industrial piping systems.
