3M 7000000932 550 Polyurethane Adhesive Sealant Fast Cure

3M 550 Polyurethane Adhesive Sealant is a fast moisture-curing, one-component adhesive/sealant based on polyurethane that forms flexible and weather-resistant bonds. This low viscosity adhesive has a fast set time and creates a permanently elastic bond, ideal for bonding a variety of similar and dissimilar materials.

• Performs in temperatures ranging from -40°F/-40°C to 194°F/90°C
• Shore A hardness of 45 with tensile strength of 3.1 MPa (450 psi)
• Elongation at break exceeds 600%
• One-component, moisture-curing formula requires no mixing
• Low viscosity formula is ideal for creating very thin bond lines

Applications:

• Marine deck to hull bonding and general marine manufacturing
• Exterior panel bonding and window framing
• Transportation applications including floors, exterior/interior panels, and roofs for trucks, trains, trailers, and vans
• Industrial and construction applications requiring strong, flexible elastomeric bonds that seal against the elements

This adhesive sealant offers an alternative to mechanical fasteners and can replace rivets in some applications. Cures at a rate of 3/16 inch (4 mm) per 24 hours at 73°F and 50% relative humidity. When stored at recommended conditions of 60° to 80°F and 40 to 60% relative humidity, shelf life is 15 months from date of manufacture for cartridges and sausage packs.
