Delphi SS12180 Camshaft Position Sensor

The Delphi SS12180 is a direct-fit camshaft position sensor (CMP sensor) engineered to OE specifications. Delphi is a Tier 1 OEM supplier, meaning this sensor is built to the same standards as the original factory component — delivering reliable signal accuracy for proper engine timing and fuel management.

The camshaft position sensor monitors the rotational position of the camshaft and sends a signal to the engine control module (ECM). This data is used to synchronize fuel injection and ignition timing, ensuring optimal engine performance and efficiency. A failed or faulty CMP sensor can result in hard starts, rough idle, poor fuel economy, misfires, or a check engine light (MIL).

Key Features:

• Direct OE replacement — no modifications required for installation
• Manufactured by Delphi, a leading OEM-level supplier to major automakers
• Precise signal output for accurate camshaft position detection
• Helps restore proper ignition timing and fuel injection synchronization
• Engineered for durability against heat, vibration, and contamination
• Meets or exceeds original equipment specifications

The Delphi SS12180 camshaft position sensor is a reliable, quality-driven replacement part that restores engine management system performance to factory standards.
