Product Details

The General Altimax Arctic 12 is a studdable winter tire designed for passenger cars, minivans, crossovers, and SUVs. Engineered to deliver confident traction in severe winter conditions, this tire carries the Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake (3PMSF) symbol, certifying its performance in heavy snow.

Key Features:

  • V-Shaped Directional Tread: Deep grooves efficiently evacuate snow and slush while reducing hydroplaning risk on wet winter roads
  • Winter Sipes: High-density siping reduces block deformation and squirm, delivering exceptional grip on ice and snow while promoting even wear for extended tread life
  • Snow Traction Ridges: Specialized ridges provide additional biting edges for improved grip during cornering, acceleration, and braking in deep snow
  • Studdable Design: Pre-molded stud pin locations allow for optional metal stud installation for maximum ice traction in the harshest conditions
  • 6-Year Limited Warranty: Backed by manufacturer warranty coverage for added peace of mind

Whether you face icy commutes or heavy snowfall, the Altimax Arctic 12 provides the winter performance and durability needed to navigate challenging conditions with confidence.
