The BBP 2100-2K is a drum brake self-adjuster cable kit. The self-adjuster cable is part of the self-adjusting mechanism in a drum brake assembly. It helps the system compensate for brake shoe wear so shoe-to-drum clearance stays consistent. A worn, corroded or broken adjuster cable can stop the brakes from adjusting automatically, so replacing it restores that function.
