GPD 1813558 Disc Brake Pad Wear Sensor

The GPD 1813558 is a direct-fit disc brake pad wear sensor (also commonly called a brake wear indicator or brake pad sensor) designed to alert the driver when brake pad lining has worn to the minimum safe thickness and replacement is required.

GPD (Global Parts Distributors) engineers this sensor as a precise OE-style replacement, ensuring plug-and-play installation with no modifications needed. When the brake pad wears down to the sensor's contact point, the sensor completes a circuit that triggers a warning light on the dashboard, prompting timely service and helping prevent rotor damage or brake system failure.

Key Features:

• Direct-fit OE replacement design for accurate, hassle-free installation
• Triggers dash warning light when brake pads reach minimum safe thickness
• Helps prevent rotor scoring and brake system damage caused by worn pads
• Manufactured to meet original equipment specifications for fit, form, and function
• Durable construction for reliable, long-term performance

Replacing a faulty or triggered brake pad wear sensor restores proper brake monitoring and ensures the warning system functions correctly after new pads are installed. Always replace the wear sensor along with the brake pads during any brake service.
