GPD 1813538 Disc Brake Pad Wear Sensor

The GPD 1813538 is a direct-fit disc brake pad wear sensor designed to alert drivers when brake pad lining has worn to a critical level and replacement is needed. GPD (Global Parts Distributors) manufactures this sensor as a reliable aftermarket replacement for the original equipment component.

How It Works:

This electronic brake wear sensor acts as a resistor connected to the vehicle's onboard computer module. As the brake pad wears down, the sensor makes contact with the rotor surface, triggering a warning light or message on the dashboard — giving you timely notice to service your brakes before damage or safety issues occur.

Key Features:

• Direct-fit design for straightforward installation with no modification required
• Electronic wear detection activates a dashboard warning light when pads reach minimum thickness
• Built to match original equipment fit, form, and function
• Constructed from quality materials for dependable, long-lasting performance
• Backed by GPD's one-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship

For best results, replace the brake pad wear sensor every time the brake pads are serviced. This ensures accurate wear detection and maintains the integrity of your vehicle's brake warning system.
