GPD 1813505 Disc Brake Pad Wear Sensor

The GPD 1813505 is a direct-fit disc brake pad wear sensor (also known as a brake wear indicator or brake pad sensor) designed to alert the driver when brake pad lining has worn to the minimum safe thickness. When the sensor contacts the rotor, it triggers a dashboard warning light, signaling that brake pad replacement is needed before rotor damage or brake failure occurs.

Key Features:

• Direct-fit design — engineered for a precise, plug-and-play installation with no modification required
• Electronic wear detection — sends a signal to the vehicle's onboard system when pad material reaches the wear limit
• Quality construction — built to OE specifications for reliable, consistent performance
• Safety-focused — helps prevent brake system damage by providing timely pad replacement alerts
• Manufactured by GPD (Global Parts Distributors) — a trusted supplier of aftermarket automotive components

Replacing a worn or damaged brake pad wear sensor at every brake pad service interval is essential for maintaining accurate wear detection and ensuring the warning system functions correctly. The GPD 1813505 restores proper brake monitoring function and is a cost-effective alternative to OEM replacement sensors.
