GPD 1813476 Disc Brake Pad Wear Sensor

The GPD 1813476 is a direct-fit disc brake pad wear sensor designed to monitor brake pad lining thickness and alert the driver when replacement is needed. As part of Global Parts Distributors' (GPD) brake hardware line, this sensor provides a reliable, OE-style replacement for worn or damaged original equipment wear sensors.

How It Works:

This electronic wear sensor acts as a resistor connected to the vehicle's computer module. As the brake pad wears down, the sensor makes contact with the rotor surface and triggers a warning light on the dashboard, signaling that the brake pads have reached the end of their service life and require replacement.

Key Features:

• Direct-fit design for straightforward, no-modification installation
• Engineered to OE specifications for proper fit, form, and function
• Activates brake pad warning indicator light when pads reach minimum thickness
• Replaces worn, damaged, or faulty original equipment wear sensors
• Manufactured by GPD (Global Parts Distributors), a trusted name in automotive replacement parts

Brake pad wear sensors should be inspected and replaced whenever brake pads are serviced. Installing a new wear sensor alongside fresh brake pads ensures the warning system functions correctly throughout the life of the new pads.
