GPD 1813471 Disc Brake Pad Wear Sensor

The GPD 1813471 is a direct-fit disc brake pad wear sensor designed to monitor brake pad lining thickness and alert the driver when replacement is needed. Also known as a brake wear indicator or brake pad sensor, this component is a critical part of the vehicle's brake warning system.

Key Features:

• Direct-fit replacement for original equipment brake pad wear sensors
• Triggers the dash warning light when brake pads reach minimum safe thickness
• Acts as an electronic resistor connected to the vehicle's brake monitoring module
• Engineered to wear at the same rate as the brake pad for accurate end-of-life detection
• Designed for precise OE-style connector fit — no modifications required

Brake pad wear sensors are a one-time-use component and should always be replaced along with the brake pads during any brake service. Installing a new sensor ensures the brake wear warning system functions accurately after the repair, maintaining the integrity of the vehicle's safety systems.
