GPD 1813437 Disc Brake Pad Wear Sensor

The GPD 1813437 is a direct-fit disc brake pad wear sensor designed to monitor brake pad wear and alert the driver when pads have reached their service limit. When the brake pad lining wears down to the sensor's contact point, the sensor triggers a warning light on the vehicle's dashboard, prompting timely pad replacement before brake system damage can occur.

Key Features:

• Direct-Fit Replacement: Engineered as a precise OE-style replacement for a straightforward, no-modification installation
• Wear Alert System: Sends an electronic signal to the vehicle's brake warning system when pad thickness reaches a critical minimum
• Durable Construction: Built to withstand the heat, vibration, and contamination typical of the brake environment
• Improved Safety: Helps prevent metal-on-metal rotor contact by providing advance warning before pads are fully depleted
• OE-Style Fit: Matches original equipment connector and mounting specifications for reliable compatibility

Replacing the brake pad wear sensor at every brake pad service interval is recommended practice to ensure the warning system functions correctly with new pads. The GPD 1813437 is part of Global Parts Distributors' comprehensive brake component line, offering dependable aftermarket quality.
