GPD 1814380 Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Direct Fit Replacement

The GPD 1814380 is a direct-fit engine coolant temperature sensor (ECT sensor) engineered to meet original equipment specifications. Designed as a plug-and-play replacement, this sensor accurately monitors coolant temperature and transmits that data to the engine control module (ECM), enabling precise management of fuel delivery, ignition timing, and A/C compressor operation.

Key Features:

• Direct OE replacement — matches original connector, thread pitch, and calibration
• Sends accurate coolant temperature readings to the ECM for proper engine management
• Helps prevent engine overheating by enabling the ECM to regulate cooling system responses
• On modern vehicles, the ECM uses coolant temperature data to control A/C compressor cycling
• On older vehicles, may directly prevent compressor engagement to protect against overheating damage
• Backed by GPD's one-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship

GPD (Global Parts Distributors) is a premier aftermarket supplier of automotive thermal and HVAC components. The 1814380 coolant temp sensor is built to deliver reliable, long-term performance and restore proper engine management function.
