GPD 1815056 Knock Sensor OE Replacement

The GPD 1815056 is a direct-fit OE-replacement knock sensor designed to restore proper engine knock detection and protect your engine from damaging detonation. GPD (Global Parts Distributors) manufactures this sensor to meet or exceed original equipment specifications, ensuring a reliable, plug-and-play installation with no modifications required.

A knock sensor monitors engine vibration frequencies associated with pre-ignition (detonation or "pinging"). When abnormal combustion is detected, it sends a signal to the engine control module (ECM), which retards ignition timing to prevent engine damage. A failed or faulty knock sensor commonly triggers a Check Engine Light and diagnostic trouble codes such as P0325–P0332, and may result in reduced engine performance and fuel economy.

Key Features:

• Direct OE replacement — matches original sensor design and connector
• Manufactured to meet or exceed OEM specifications for accurate signal output
• Helps eliminate knock sensor-related diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs)
• Restores proper ignition timing control and engine protection
• Constructed with durable materials to withstand high underhood temperatures
• Plug-and-play fitment — no wiring modifications needed
