GPD 1814952 Knock Sensor

The GPD 1814952 Knock Sensor is a direct-fit replacement designed to restore proper engine management and protect your engine from damaging detonation. The knock sensor monitors engine vibration frequencies associated with pre-ignition and detonation, sending a signal to the engine control module (ECM) to retard ignition timing when knocking is detected, preventing potential engine damage.

Key Features:

• Direct OEM replacement for a reliable, fit-and-function match
• Monitors combustion knock and detonation to protect engine integrity
• Sends precise voltage signals to the ECM for accurate ignition timing correction
• Constructed to meet or exceed original equipment specifications
• Designed for straightforward installation with no modification required

A faulty knock sensor can trigger a check engine light (CEL), cause poor fuel economy, reduced power, and over time lead to serious internal engine damage. Replacing a failed sensor with the GPD 1814952 restores the engine's ability to self-correct ignition timing, ensuring optimal performance and long-term reliability.
