GPD 1815898 Disc Brake Pad Wear Sensor

The GPD 1815898 is a direct-fit disc brake pad wear sensor from Global Parts Distributors (GPD), designed to monitor brake pad lining thickness and alert the driver when pads have worn to the replacement threshold. This brake wear indicator sensor is an essential safety component in disc brake systems equipped with electronic wear monitoring.

When the brake pad lining wears down to a critical level, the sensor completes or breaks a circuit, triggering the brake pad wear warning light on the vehicle's dashboard. This provides a timely, reliable alert to replace brake pads before metal-on-metal contact occurs, protecting rotors and maintaining safe stopping performance.

Key Features:

• Direct-fit replacement designed to match original equipment sensor geometry and connector
• Electronic sensor type — triggers dashboard warning light when pad wear reaches the replacement threshold
• Manufactured to OE specifications for proper fit, form, and function
• Durable construction engineered to withstand heat, vibration, and brake dust exposure
• Replaces worn or damaged brake pad wear sensors at time of pad replacement

The GPD 1815898 brake wear sensor should be replaced every time new brake pads are installed, as the sensor is a single-use component that is consumed along with the brake pad lining. Confirm fitment using your vehicle's year, make, model, and brake position prior to installation.
